Moroccan Oil; the ultimate hair regenerator.

This is probably my favourite hair product at the moment and I can't believe that I didn't start using Moroccan Oil/ Argan Oil sooner! I'm pretty lazy when it comes to my hair, I don't use any heat protection or frizz control products regularly and I tend to leave my natural or just put a few more tidy curls in the top. Although I haven't dyed my hair is about 18months as I don't get it cut very often so the ends can become very thin and sometimes straggly looking. I was first introduced to the hair oil by my Mum, at first I was put off by the price as I was only told of one of the most expensive brands of oil which was around £30 and I couldn't really afford to spend that amount of money on a hair product. Anyways in the end my Mum bought me some for my birthday in May, and one thing is for sure that I absolutely love it and I now use it every time I wash my hair.

In terms of a routine I normally wash my hair, towel dry it and then put a tiny penny sized amount in my hands, rub my hands together and then focus on rubbing it through the ends of my hair, I then use any excess through the rest of my hair. I try not to put too much in the top of my hair, by my roots as this can sometimes cause your hair to become a little greasy which is natural considering it is an oily substance. Since using the oil frequently I have seen a huge improvement in the ends of my hair and I definitely don't have as many split ends anymore, making my hair feel fuller and softer. Also I'm always getting compliments about the smell of my hair which is a bonus.

There is a huge selection of oil brands to choose from and TK Maxx is great for grabbing yourself a bottle at a discounted price, they also do loads of shampoos and conditioners that have Moroccan Argan Oil in them.

I personally use 'Organic World, Moroccan Argan Oil' which can be found in Superdrug for about £4.99. I think this is a great price and it certainly does the job!

So if your looking for something to give your hair a bit of a boost Moroccan Argan Oil is for you, I guarantee it will transform your straggly split ends into luscious locks!

Date Night Outfit #1

Ohhh I do love a date night with my boyfriend, it's a chance to dress up, go to a fancy resturant and act like sophisticated adults. I mean don't get me wrong I love a night in wearing PJ's, eating a takeaway and watching a movie but sometimes it's time to remind your other half that 'honey I've still got it'. -Oh god I sound like I've been married for about 50 years (which I haven't, I'm not even married!) Anyways I hope you enjoy my date night outfit!

The Outfit:-
New Look colette style floral trousers £9 (sale) absolutely love these! I was worried they would make me look short and pump but by wearing heels I think I resolved this issue.

New Look white basis spagehetti strap top, £2.99 I swear by these! Not only are is it a great length (not too long/not too short) and also a really nice soft material. Another plus is that its not see through! (Like my Primark ones!)

H&M Black Leather Jacket £30.00 I personally think that you can never go wrong with a leather jacket. It can give even the cutest outfits a rough and ready look.

H&M Black Ankle Strap Heels, £15.00
These shoes are super comfy as they have a thicker heel to them. However I still find it hard to dance the night away in them! They are great to dress up a simple/classic outfit.

Necklace Urban Outfitters £5 sale, I wasn't sure whether to wear silver or gold jewellery with this outfit but in the end decided to go with silver as I although I wanted a statement piece to fill my chest I felt gold would have been too bold.

Primark black and white clutch bag £4- To be honest I was in a rush so just quickly grabbed the first bag I saw in my cupboard. I love blocking black and white and the monochrome look will always be one of my favourites.

What do you think of my outfit choice? What might you wear differently, let me know!

New Look: Autumn is Coming!

Oo Em Gee (OMG) (Oh my God)

Can you believe Summer is coming to an end and we are already starting to see the autumn collections in stores?!

There always gets to a point in summer when I have nearly worn all my summer clothes inside out, back to front, upside down, you name it and there is literally no other way I could possibly wear it! So it's a bit of a relief when Autumn comes and taps me on the shoulder. I love Autumn, layering up is my forte! New Look has some of the most gorgeous pieces in their Autumn collection, so here is a few things I will be purchasing ready for the months of crunchy leafs and pumpkins!

Thank god, tartan is back in, otherwise I would probably have to throw out half of my clothes from last year! I do love a bit of tartan in Autumn, it makes me feel like a little school girl again. (Scarf- £12.99, Dress- £24.99. Skirt £14.99)

Also lighter weight coats and jackets are big on New Looks agenda for Autumn, not your really thick Winter coats but jackets with a smarter feel, I personally am loving the textured crepe duster coat which comes in 7 different colours and at £29.99 you better grab one while they're still available! (see pic below)

Blanket Wraps are gunna be huge next season and I'm really 'warming' to the idea of them! Not only will they keep you cosy while watching those November fireworks but right in with the latest trend! Who knows maybe poncho's will be making a come back to! (1- £24.99, 2- £24.99, 3-£19.99) I absolutely love the colours of number 2, not only gorgeous festival colours but also great for festival nights to keep you snugly while watching your favourite acts!

The links are down below for my suggested items!
Enjoy the rest of our summer days!

Muji Make up Organiser

Oops! Haven't been on my blog in while!

So here's a quick post on a make up organiser I bought today!

I've been wanting a make up organiser for ages and have been popping into home sense (the home ware store owned by tkmaxx) in hope that I would find something there but unfortunately although they had some they didn't have big enough to fit my makeup collection!

Anyways, so my friend Beth told me about Muji, there aren't many around where I live and although I had walked passed one before I have never stopped to look in. I looked on there website prior to making my trip to Guildford and saw that they had some acrylic boxes, these vary in size and shape.

I went for the 5 draw acrylic boxes, £24.95 (they also give student discount, so I got it for (£22.50) it is clear which is great they means it looks smaller than it is on my shelf and also makes it easier to see what compartment each make up type is in, e.g all my skin products, eye products etc...

So if you are looking for a make up organiser check Muji out!
